SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL WATER WEEK ONLINE

COVID-19 has disrupted businesses and events worldwide, and Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) was no exception. Earlier this year, we took the difficult decision to reschedule SIWW to June 2021.

From the substantial feedback received since, we know the thirst for knowledge exchange, peer-to-peer learning, business interaction and leads generation remains strong. So, rather than wait till June next year, we have decided to bring you our first-ever virtual event ‑ SIWW Online ‑ which will be held from 18-19 November 2020.

Here's what you can expect:

  • 7 Webinars on thematic areas centred around innovation and solutions, carefully curated with our partners, with a special focus on successful case studies.
  • 2 Exhibitor Showcases featuring the latest products and solutions by our exhibitors for the first time in the Asia-Pacific.
  • Over 120 exhibitors in the Virtual Expo, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions in urban water management.
  • Tailored B2B Virtual Business Matching Programme, for regional buyers and distributors to connect with exhibitors.
  • Virtual Networking Opportunities with global leaders and experts.

This virtual event will be complimentary for all participants and exhibitors. Do keep a look out for more information on our social media channels.
We invite you to join us at SIWW Online.

PUB AND SEMBCORP BUILD ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST INLAND FLOATING SOLAR FARMS

Organica Grocer

PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency and Sembcorp Floating Solar Singapore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, have announced the commencement of construction of the 60 megawatt-peak (MWp) floating solar photovoltaic (PV) system on Tengeh Reservoir. This marks a significant milestone in building one of the world's largest inland floating solar PV systems.

The first of its kind in the region, this system not only helps to reduce dependency on fossil fuels and thus carbon emissions, but also builds national climate resilience for a more sustainable future. Singapore is thus set to be one of the few countries in the world to integrate green technology with water treatment!
